Every role spells out what it can read and change, and an area can be taken away from one person with No access.
Young Leaders and Helpers
Add an Explorer to a younger section as a Young Leader, or someone helping for their Duke of Edinburgh's Award as a Helper (a Young Helper in Scotland), and see every one of them across the Group in one list.
Suspensions handled properly
If a volunteer is suspended, the Group Lead Volunteer, acting on the District Lead Volunteer's authority, can put every role they hold on hold in one step. They're signed out everywhere, left out of messages and phone calls, and restored exactly as they were when it ends.

Can Scout Suite manage multiple sections?
Yes. A group can manage sections from Squirrels through to Network, with leaders given access to the sections they work with.
Does Scout Suite replace spreadsheets?
It is designed to replace the shared spreadsheets and disconnected tools groups use for members, events, finance, badges, safety and parent communications.
Can an Explorer Unit or Scout Network Unit use Scout Suite on its own?
Yes. Explorer Units and Scout Network Units are their own kind of organisation, affiliated to a District or County, with their own team, programme, events, finance and communications. A Group or Unit shares a young person's record with them when they move up.
Who can suspend a volunteer?
The District Lead Volunteer and the County, Area or Regional Lead Volunteer can suspend anyone with a role in their area. A Group Lead Volunteer can suspend someone in their Group on the District Lead Volunteer's authority, and names them when they do.
