Scout uniform badge designer

See exactly where every badge goes on a Scout uniform, free and without an account. Badges are placed by the official rules, and leaders can show any young person their own uniform, built from the badges they've been awarded.

Every badge in the right place

Pick a section, tick the badges, and the designer puts each one where the Scouts' uniform rules and diagrams say it goes, including the honeycomb on the sleeve and badges that carry over from an earlier section.

Every young person's own uniform

Inside Scout Suite, View on uniform shows a young person's uniform with the badges they've been awarded, plus the Group, District and County badges, the Group's necker and the badge for Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland. Email it to their parents, who can also open it from the family portal.

Where this fits in Scout Suite

Scout Suite is broader than a single feature. This page connects into the wider operating system for members, parents, leaders, treasurers and trustees.

Questions groups ask

Is the uniform designer free?

Yes. Anyone can use it at scoutsuite.app/design without an account. You only need to sign in to load a young person's badges from Scout Suite.

Where do the placement rules come from?

From the Scouts' Policy, Organisation and Rules (Chapter 10) and the official uniform diagrams.

Can I drag a badge somewhere else?

No. Badges go where the rules put them, so the picture always shows the right place.

Can parents see their child's uniform?

Yes. A leader can email it to them, and parents can open it from their child's card in the family portal.
