On the go
Scout Suite on your phone
Scout Suite works in your phone's browser and can sit on your home screen like an app. Take the register when the signal drops, scan kit in and out, report a problem with a photo and take the paperwork to camp.
An app without the app store
Open Scout Suite in your phone's browser and add it to your home screen, and it opens full screen like an app. There's nothing to download from an app store and nothing to update.
Take the register in a field
Tap each young person present, absent, late or excused, or mark everyone present at once. If the signal drops, the register is saved on your phone and sent when you're back online, and so are the badge requirements you tick.
Scan kit with your camera
Scan the QR label on a tent or a stove to look it up, check it out, check it back in, move it, count it in a stocktake or record a PAT test. On Android, tap an NFC tag instead. What you've scanned is kept if the signal drops or the screen locks.
Report it on the spot
Spot a snapped tent pole or a leaking boiler, and report it there and then with a photo, or scan the QR poster on the building wall. It goes straight to whoever looks after it.
Your Group in your calendar and contacts
Leaders with a Scout Suite eSIM can sync section meetings and events into their phone's calendar, and leaders, members and parents into its contacts, so you can see who's calling. Set it up on iPhone by scanning a code with the camera, or on Android with DAVx⁵.
Ready for camp
Download the In Touch sheet of emergency contacts and medical details as a PDF before you go, keep in touch on a leader eSIM, buy travel data eSIMs for trips abroad, and ask the assistant a question on WhatsApp.

Is there a Scout Suite app?
Not in the app stores. Scout Suite runs in your phone's browser, and you can add it to your home screen so it opens like an app.
Does Scout Suite work without signal?
Partly. Registers, badge requirement ticks and equipment scans are kept on your phone and sent when you're back online, and pages you've already visited can be read offline. Everything else needs a connection.
Can I scan NFC tags on an iPhone?
No. Safari can't read NFC tags, so on an iPhone scan the QR label on the same item instead. NFC tapping works in Chrome on Android.
