Scout fundraising and grant tracking

Raise money for the next camp or a new minibus with your own donation page, collect Gift Aid as people give, and track grants from the application deadline to the funder's report, each in its own restricted fund.

A donation page for every campaign

Give a campaign a name, a reason, a target, dates and some suggested amounts, then share its link. Supporters see how much has been raised against the target, and can give without an account, anonymously if they prefer.

Gift Aid as people give

Donors tick the Gift Aid box and add their home address as they give. The declaration goes straight into your Gift Aid claims, so there are no paper forms to chase afterwards.

Every penny in its own fund

Each campaign's money is kept in its own restricted fund, so it's spent on what people gave it for. Record cash, cheques and bank transfers given in person, and tell supporters what their money paid for on the campaign page.

Grants, from application to award

Track each application with the funder, what it's for, the amount, the deadline and when to expect a decision. An awarded grant gets its own restricted fund with the funder's conditions: when to spend it by, what it can be spent on, when the report is due and whether unspent money goes back.

Reports your funders will accept

Bank lines tagged to a grant show what came in and what was spent, with a warning when spending doesn't fit the grant. The funder report downloads as a CSV or a PDF, and the application, award letter and report back are kept with the grant.

Where this fits in Scout Suite

Scout Suite is broader than a single feature. This page connects into the wider operating system for members, parents, leaders, treasurers and trustees.

Questions groups ask

Do donors need a Scout Suite account?

No. A campaign page is public. Anyone with the link can give by card, add Gift Aid and leave a message, and they get a thank-you email.

Where does the money go?

Donations are taken through the online card payments your Group already uses for invoices, so the money goes to the Group, and Scout Suite keeps it in the campaign's restricted fund.

What about money raised somewhere else?

Record cash, cheques and bank transfers against the campaign as gifts given in person, or tag the bank line to the campaign's fund, and they count towards the total.

Does Scout Suite find grants for us?

No. It tracks the grants you apply for, from the deadline to the report back. Finding funders is still up to you.
