Every Group underneath you, in one view

A District dashboard rolls up every Group linked to it. A County, Area or Region goes a layer further, across every District and every Group inside them. Groups keep their own data; you see what you need to support them.

Plan provision, not just sections

Provision planning builds on every Group and Unit's own section forecast to show where Scouting is full, where there's space, where volunteers will be needed and which Groups are at risk of becoming too small. It shows counts only: no young person's name leaves a Group.

Pay for your Groups centrally

A District or County can pay for its Groups' Scout Suite subscriptions, with a lower price per Group once enough Groups are paid for. A Group sees that it's paid for as soon as it accepts the invite.

Units that belong to the District or County

Explorer Units and Scout Network Units are organisations in their own right, affiliated to the District or County, with records shared with them as young people move up. Campsites, centres and jamborees you own and run can have their own space too.

The right words for your nation

Choose the nation when you set up a County, Area or Region, and everyone underneath it sees the right terms: County in England, Area in Wales, Region in Scotland and Northern Ireland, with the Lead Volunteer titles to match, and the Charity Commission, OSCR or CCNI for charity numbers. Until the nation is known, Scout Suite uses neutral wording and never assumes England.

Suspend a volunteer everywhere, in one step

When a volunteer is suspended, the District or County Lead Volunteer puts every role they hold, in every Group, District and County, on hold at once, and restores them just as easily. A Group Lead Volunteer can do the same on the District Lead Volunteer's authority. Only the reason category is kept, and every step goes in the audit log.

Where this fits in Scout Suite

Scout Suite is broader than a single feature. This page connects into the wider operating system for members, parents, leaders, treasurers and trustees.

Questions groups ask

Can a District see every Group's data?

No. A District or County sees what it needs to support its Groups, such as subscription health, while each Group keeps its own members, finance and records. A Group has to accept an invite before it's linked.

Can a District see where it will need more Explorer or Network places?

Yes. Provision planning counts the Scouts turning 14, and the Explorers and Young Leaders turning 18, each term against the places in Explorer and Network sections, flags Groups forecast to fall below a viable number of young people, and shows how many more volunteers each section will need and by when. It uses counts only.

Can a District pay for its Groups?

Yes. A District or County / Area / Region can pay for its Groups' subscriptions centrally, with a lower price per Group once enough Groups are paid for. See the pricing page for the current rates.

Does Scout Suite support Explorer Units and Scout Network Units?

Yes. Both are their own kind of organisation, affiliated to a District or County, with the same tools as a Group. Young people's records are shared with them when they move up.

Does it work for Areas and Regions as well as Counties?

Yes. The nation you choose names the tier: a County in England, an Area in Wales, and a Region in Scotland and Northern Ireland. Districts and Groups underneath follow it.
