Connecting JustGiving

For a Group, open Settings, then Payments. The JustGiving card is under Integrations. For a District or County, open Finance, then the Budgeting section, then Fundraising, where the card is at the top of the tab.

The card shows an Application ID, with a Copy button. Give it to the charity. It is not a secret, but it identifies Scout Suite to Blackbaud, so give it only to someone at the charity you trust.

A charity organisation admin, or someone with Marketplace permissions, adds Scout Suite in Blackbaud Marketplace using the Application ID. Connecting in Marketplace does not give Scout Suite access to donations, so the next step is needed too.

Nobody has the JustGiving Data permission by default, not even charity admins. An admin gives it in role management. That person then signs in to Scout Suite from the card and gives consent.

Press Connect JustGiving. You are taken to Blackbaud to sign in and approve, and then brought back to the page you started from. The card then shows Connected, with the name of the person who connected it.

The approval expires after five minutes and can be used once. If it is refused, press Connect JustGiving again to start over.

JustGiving claims Gift Aid on donations made through it. The charity must not claim it again through Scout Suite.

Press Disconnect on the card to remove Scout Suite's stored access. Donations already brought in stay. To remove access completely, also remove Scout Suite in Blackbaud Marketplace, because Scout Suite cannot revoke access on Blackbaud's side.
